Despite canceled shows across the country, Frankfort’s fireworks display is still a go for Wednesday night. The local Fourth of July fireworks show will begin after dusk.
The public is invited to watch the display from Capital View Park after 7 p.m.
Other events in the area include the Old-fashioned Family Fourth of July from 2-4 p.m. at Liberty Hall, The Great Buffalo Chase 5K at 8 a.m., and the South Frankfort Independence Day Parade and Ice Cream Social at noon.
