A Lawrenceburg teenager is dead after a crash on U.S. 62 in Anderson County Sunday afternoon, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
Cody Ramsey, 17, of Lawrenceburg, lost control of his vehicle before hitting a tree, the sheriff’s office says.
The crash occurred before storms hit the area.
Ramsey was the only person inside the van, and The Anderson News reports he was pronounced dead at the scene.
