James Roberts

HAROLD – James Luther Roberts, age 77, of Harold, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Pikeville Medical Center.

A native of Harold, KY, he was born March 12, 1935, to the late Ranel and Elizabeth Conn Roberts. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his children, Jimmy Jr. Roberts, Billy (Amy) Roberts, Vicky Parker, Sherry (Luke) May and Tracy Roberts, all of Frankfort, Randy (Cheryl) Roberts of Bradenton, FL; brothers, Wendell (Peggy) Roberts, Ralph (Sara) Roberts and Larry Roberts, all of Huntington, WV, Garry Roberts, Harold, KY, Ed (Tommie) Roberts, Frankfort and Charles (Virgie) Roberts of TN; sister-in-law, Lola Roberts, Harold, KY; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Huffman Roberts; his parents; brother, Bobby Joe Roberts and sister, Bonnie Sue Brookover.

The funeral service was held Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, KY and burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery at 2 p.m. today, July 6, 2012.
